El mal ajeno?

Would you be asking about the movie? Taken out of context phrases like this don't make much sense, but in the context of the movie it does make sense. As geouk has pointed out, It means "other people's throes", "other's suffering", literally it could be other's suffering/evil/bad, so much would depend on context.

ajeno means pertaining to another person, thing or, not related to, strange and can be used in a million ways, it seems.

Good point, Jack, I didn't translate "ajeno" as it doesn't have a literal transtation into English, your definition is right - geouk, Oct 8, 2011
