how do you say 'take out' (as in a date!)
I want to say to a girl "I'd like to take you out some time"
which verb should I use? sacar? me gustaría sacarte?

"I'd like to take you out some time"
This would be appropriate if you already know the girl: Me gustaría salir contigo alguna vez.
To meet her at her home to go out, and if you already know her somewhat, you could use sacar, ie: Me gustaría sacarte a dar una vuelta.
But if you have never gone out with her, or if you don´t know her well, it´s better to use tratar, ie: Me gustaría tratarte.
You can use the verb ''salir.''
An example of how to use it would be ''¿Quieres salir conmigo?'' which means ''Do you want to go out with me?''
If you'd like to use gustaría if would be ''¿Te gustaría salir conmigo?
I wouldn't use sacar here. How about....
Me gustaría/ puedo invitarte a hacer algo... a cenar.... a ir al cine or something.
¿Cómo que no puede ser sacar?
Claro que connota la idea de que nunca sale, sino que la tienen que sacar de algún lugar. ![]()
The only time you would use "sacar"with a person is if you plan on pulling her out of a hat or an enclosed space of some sort. Sacar= to take (things) out...such as from an enclosed space. Yo saqué las llaves del bolsillo. I took out (pulled out) my keys from my pocket. "Salir con" is used with people as in going out on a date. I went out with María last weekend. Yo salí con María la semana pasada.
thanks all for the answers ![]()
