What is 'un rollo'

Question

I think this is a slang word which could mean something boring or complicated. Can someone send me an explanation please.

•un rollo de discurso/tío -> an incredibly boring speech/guy

•el rollo de costumbre -> the same old story

•¡corta el rollo ya! -> shut up, you're boring me to death!

•soltar el rollo -> to go on and on

•tener mucho rollo -> to witter on

Rollo, is used in diferent context, the general idea is explain or make something easy using a very large and/or complex speech/method, a very good example is a politician speech or a gubernamental permission.

Siempre la palabra English empieza con E mayúscula. "Explaining". Puedes decir "help me fix my errors" o "help me by fixing..." - Christina_Texas, Oct 6, 2011

Hi Jimena, rollo can mean anything from boring, silly, stupid to cool, all depends on the context

Do you have a sentence?

I have seen it in books refering to a film, also I have heard it from a woman making a comment on another : Alguien con rollo o sin rollo in the context of problems - Jimenastrang, Oct 6, 2011
