Spanish alphabet - how do letters sound- missing letter "m"

In the reference section Spanish Grammar and the topic "Spanish alphabet - how do letters sound," I noticed that the letter "m" was missing in the detailed section.

This brings up an interesting question for me: How many letters in the Spanish alphabet? I have seen discussion on the Spanish alphabet and I am confused as to how many letters in the alphabet. I thought there were 30 letters = the English alphabet with the addition of four letters; ch, ll,ñ, and rr. I saw something saying the NEW Spanish Alphabet consists of only 28 letters: the English alphabet with the addition of two letters: ñ, and ll." Another reference stated that rr is now just r????????

Is there an official answer somewhere?

I am sure the advanced members will resolve this if not directly then through research with F.A.E. - kmaakheru, Oct 6, 2011

As far as I know the rr was never listed as a seperate letter.

I suppose in our reference section the m is missing as it sounds the same in both languages.

Este es un artículo que lo detallagrin

All the other letters are listed that sound the same. I would update the document and add "m." - unitedpilot, Oct 6, 2011
