que es Pescado Serrucho en Ingles
I would like to know what the Fish Serruco', is called in Spanish and I don't mean Sword Fish. My mother used to buy it in New York City many many years ago. It resembled Halibut since it too was a deep sea fish. It had a blackened skin and greyish white meat which turned white after cooking, it had one center bone which was easally disposed of. It had a delicious flavor. Hope you can help me. Thank you, Nora Garcia

I found this googling pez surrucho
The oilfish, Ruvettus pretiosus, is a species of snake mackerel in the family Gempylidae, and the only species in the genus Ruvettus

Here is a recipe for Pez Serrucho
Most likely serrucho is referring to kingfish. My parents are Cuban
It's a saw fish.
