I know what a nopal is, but I do not know how to translate it. Yo se que son nopales, pero se me hace dificil traducirlo al ingles.

We have lots of them here in Arizona and we call them prickly pears.

Rather than using a dictionary sometimes it works to put the word into wikipedia, then swap the language on the left hand side.

Nopal can also translate as cactus.
