What does "I do leaf rubbings" mean?. I have seen in a text about hobbies and I cannot see what this is.

Thanks for your answers.

Hacer calco de una hoja, poniéndola debajo de un papel y frotando un lápiz por encima.

I do not yet know enough about how this forum works to be able to post pictures for you, but do a google search for "leaf rubbing" and you will see.

It is when you take a piece of paper and place it over something. Then you rub a pencil gently across the paper so the image is transferred. People do this a lot with gravestones - to get the image of the stones words transferred to paper in an artistic sort of way.

What you've described is a "rubbing". A "leaf rubbing" is one that you do with leaves. - gintar77, Oct 3, 2011
