Colombian pharse "empuje berraqera"
Hi
I am interviewing Colombians' living in the United States for my doctoral dissertation and one of the people I interviewed used the term....empuje berraqera to describe Colombian's. He described it as a personal toughness...
however, I am not able to pull this up in Spanishdict.com did I spell it wrong or is it a phrase only used in Colombia?
Thanks, Shawn

title of online link:
deseo trabajar tengo la berraquera y el empuje
My guess: I desire work. I have the will and the drive.
