Question

Anyone recommend a good topic to write on a presentation about the mexican revolution. I would like to do it on the path to modern day Mexico in the 1940s to today but want to stand out from the rest.

The saga of the Zapatistan rebels has always interested me. I've visited several of the areas where they operated. They were reputed to be followers of Emiliano Zapata, a noted Mexican revolutionary.

You could write about how race played a part in the revolution. In the American Revolution it is fascinating what role African Americans and slave played. I have mixed blood ancestry from New Mexico and the attitudes are interesting even today. Here is a link link text
