Welcome to the forum!
Study Spanish, ask good questions, answer questions to help others when you can.
You'll get points for that.
You don't need points to get started.
This is a common question, and you could have found the answer by searching the forum.

Hi!
This is how it works, but the most important thing is to follow the rules!
When you are chosen as the best answer by someone else = 20 reputation
When you submit a phrasebook entry that is published = 20 reputation
When you're voted up on a question or answer = 10 reputation
When you vote for someone else's question or answer = 1 reputation
Get flagged = -10 reputation
