Really easy. Just look up these words here (this site has an awesome dictionary), and compare the definitions.

The dictionary doesn't distinguish between the two in the primary definition of being late, delayed or behind, I was hoping for some clarification in this forum on when and why to use each:


atrasado - late, behind ADJECTIVE 1. (not on time) a. late b. behind c. behind schedule


retrasado - behind ADJECTIVE 1. (behind schedule) a. behind b. delayed c. late
