Just wondering the differences in when to use this, I was under the assumption for example Darme una silla, or Dame una silla and Traerme una cerveza or Traeme una cerveza, any help on this would be appreciated, Gracias

Traeme una cerveza. - This is a command - Bring me a beer.

¿Puede traerme una cerveza? - Can you bring me a beer?

¿Podría traerme una cerveza? - Could you bring me a beer? (More polite)

Same thing with "dar":

Dame - command - give me.

¿Puede darme / podría darme - Can you / could you give me...
