I have diffcults pronouncing spanish words. Are there any formulas that can assist in this effort'

The rules of emphasis. Words that end in an -n -s or vowel, the emphasis is on the 2nd to last syllable or penúltima. For example, fugit i vo, the emphasis is on the i that is separated. Words that end in consonants have the natural emphasis on the last syllable. Example, "hogar", the last syllable carries the emphasis. A word takes an accent when it breaks the rules of emphasis such as límite. Instead of either last or 2nd to last, the first syllable takes the emphasis due to the accent. Actually, Spanish has the absolute most regular pronunciation that matches its spelling. I used to teach Spanish grammar. Write them out and you will see. Good luck.
