I have generally heard New York referred to as "Nueva York" in Spanish. If you wanted to be very grammatically correct, then you should say "La Ciudad de Nueva York." That would be New York City.

Well Teddy you just say New York city, but if you are looking for the Spanish equivalent then I believe it's "la ciudad de nueva york". Welcome to the forum. Please remember to use proper capitalization and punctuation in all posts in the future.
