Help with Formal Commands
Here is a question I have on my homework...wondering if any great Spanish speakers would like to help me? Id appreciate it!
Mandatos formales. Its your first day on the job teaching a group of 20 second-graders. Choose six verbs from the list below to create either affirmative or negative "FORMAL USTEDES COMMANDS" that you could use to manage the students in the classroom. Remember to write in complete sentences. (2 points each, 12 points total)
Ejemplo: cerrar ? Cierren las bocas. OR ¡No cierren los ojos!
"hablar" "abrir" "sentarse" "hacer" "escuchar" "comer" "leer" "pedir" "mirar" "escribir" "gritar" "pensar"

"Help" means you do your homework, post your answers here, and we'll help ensure you know what you did wrong (if any).
We help with homework; we don't do your homework.
¡Buena suerte!
HI jms, but you already have an example!!!
cerrar ? Cierren las bocas. OR ¡No cierren los ojos!
Here's a link to formal commands. There are plenty of examples and a nice explanation. Have fun. Hope this helps ![]()
P.S. There is more where that came from. Just check under the more tab at the top of the page and go to reference.
Hi again, so, go to the conjugation tab, type in any verb...you will find the commands there, you only have to add something.
Where it says imperative, you choose the last verb, that is the formal command.
Ok , now you have a go at it![]()
