The 'Practice Makes Perfect' books are excellent. Really easy to follow and a great way to improve your Spanish.

Hi everyone,

My first post here I think. I have been a member for about a year, initially using the 'Learn' section, but since then using the site for translation. I've great enthusiasm for learning, but unfortunately it does not come so easily as in my youth.

I too am looking for a good exercise book. I have listened to Pimsler, watched the BBC online material, and have just started to listen to 'Learning Spanish Like Crazy'. I do find that boredom sets in, and I like to combine learning methods to keep things interesting. (I must say that 'LSLC' is the best for me so far) I am looking forward to performing some exercises rather than just listening or reading. I will look at the titles mentioned above, thanks.

Hasta luego

There are so many good books. I suggest you go to a bookstore or library so that you can actually look through and choose things that appeal to you based on your level and your interest.
