Video lessson 2.1 singular or plural verb
Hi, in video lesson 2.1 Professions and Questions, an answer is given as:
El hombre de negocios y la recepcionista trabaja en la oficina.
I wouldn't say the businessman and the receptionist works in the office in English (or in German); I would conjugate the verb in the plural for two people doing the same action: trabajan. Was this just a mistake or is it a peculiarity of Spanish, please? Gracias

A mistake.
