My example:

Dad thought that by not buying me a handheld game console I wouldn't try to find a way to play my video games on the trip.

Wait dad, I really wanna go with you but my finger is stuck in the CPU. The technician is coming next month.

If I told you it was a mini-fridge for six-packs would that change things?.

But my girlfriend said she was going to send me an email soon!

*"she was going to" was difficult for me... in English it talks about the future, but states it in the past.

If we can put it in the car, we can use it for getting directions.

This photo belongs in a museum, because today the boy would just hide a wireless browser in his pocket. He would spend his vacation on SpanishDict.

Don’t show this photo to my wife! If she were to see it, she could make up her mind to try to separate me from my computer.
