How would you say "open house"?

Like when people can come and go as they please? An open house at a school or for a house that is for sale or a party where you can arrive at any time?

Una jornada de puertas abiertas is used for say a school or university that has an open day but I think you can just say puerta abierta for an open home kind of thing (real estate) .
