How do you pronounce dieciseis?
i'm not satisfied enough for the answers of my question about "how to pronounce diez?" so I go with this question, how do you pronounce dieciseis? and I wonder also, what's familiar in saying sixteen in spanish: dieciseis or diez y seis? thx, hope u guys'd help?

To know how to pronounce it, first you must spell it correctly. dieciséis
When I was in school (many moons ago) I recall that we were told that the teens (and twenties) could be written either as one or two words, but most of the number sites that I have looked at recently say that the two (three?) word numbers begin at treinta y uno. Everything before that is one word. (p. ej. dieciocho/veintidós)
There is a pronunciation video in our dictionary
notice that seis in diez y seis requires no accent mark as seis is a monosyllable word. (stress on the strong vowel of the diphthong)
dieciséis (to conserve the stress on seis) requires an accent mark as the word is grave.
