When I say, "the team should have won..." do I say

El equipo debe haber ganado... or El equipo debería haber ganado...

is there a difference?

El equipo debería haber ganado.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I would say. I think your other sentence translates more like : the team must have won.

I agree that the conditional of deber is best. But I alsoI think "the team must have won" would be El equipo debe DE haber ganado. - Jeremias, Sep 16, 2011
I would go with debería haber as well, I thought that debería de haber = possibility, conjecture but debería haber (or any other inf) = obligation - Kiwi-Girl, Sep 16, 2011
