Mmm yo lo pondria de otra manera, que si sabia lo que tenia, lo que nunca penso era que lo iba a perder...

I put it another way, what I know that I have he never thought he was going to lose? something like that?

Not a literal translation but I would say something like this.

Voy a decirlo de otra manera, en cierto modo nunca pensó que iba a perderlo.

Eddy, I think he is looking for the English version of the sentence. - 00e657d4, Sep 12, 2011
Hmmm, I can see why you would think that. The English logic doesn't flow well. We don't know what he knows that he has, so we have no idea what the other person never thought that he would lose. A rather circuitious statement on its own. - 0074b507, Sep 12, 2011
No wonder that he had to put it another way. - 0074b507, Sep 12, 2011

not really because the website translates direct phrases instead if the whole sentence.

I'd say:

To put it in a different way, he knew what he had, but he never thought he would lose it.

English is my second language, so you may want a second opinion.
