What is the difference between 'estan' and 'que esta'?

'Estan' aprendiendo mas Espanol.

or

'Que esta' aprendiendo mas Espanol.

Which is correct? And what is the difference?

First, 'que esta' means 'than this' (ex. more than this, less than this). 'que está' with the accent mark, is the correct in this context.

The differences are: 'está' is singular and 'están' is plural. We use 'que está' to ... how I can say it? ... to define what's the object or person of we're talking about.

Example:

"La que está sentada es mi hija"

"The -girl- who is sitting, is my daughter."

If you don't specify what are you trying to say, the two sentences are correct but, the last sentence sounds incomplete.

Que está aprendiendo más Español.

This is an incomplete sentence. One way to make it complete would be "La niña que está aprendiendo más español es muy lista." The little girl who is learning more Spanish is very cleaver.

Estan Aprendiendo mas Español

translates as - They are learning more Spanish.

Que esta' aprendiendo mas Espanol.

would translate roughly as - he/she/it that is learning Spanish

I´m not sure when you would use the second sentence, so if only one of them can be correct, it´s got to be the first one.

Well it depends on what you're trying to say. Están aprendiendo is the correct way to say they are learning. Que está aprendiendo means different things based on context, but is conjugated in the he/she/it/usted form.
