Word for Boundary

Question

Is there a good Spanish word or phrase (that would be used by those from Mexico) to mean "boundaries" in a psychological sense? For instance, "I set up a boundary in my relationship with my mom and asked her not to call me twice a day."

límite seem to work here. Our dictionary lists it as synonymous with boundary. - 0074b507, Sep 10, 2011

I woul go with "límites", meaning limit or boundary. Though frontera means essentially the same thing. Even still, límite indicates allowance, more so than demarkation.
