How would I say "spelling bee trophy" in Spanish?
I was thinking it would be "trofeo de ortografía." But I looked it up and got other suggestions, like "de ortografía trofeo."

Here is a list of words on the New Mexico Spanish Spelling Bee ( reminds me of Are you Smarter than a 5th Grader?)
Notice that they use Concurso de Deletreo for Spelling Bee. I haven't found one that gives a trophy rather than a ribbon or plaque to see how they word it.
Oregon Spanish Spelling Bee video with trophy (I could get this to play in Internet Explorer, but not Firefox.) The actual website tells you the words that disqualified the runner up and the winning words. I won't tell you what they were because I would have made the same mistake as the runner up.
Unfortunately, this site is not in Spanish.
The NY contest did have a trophy and the article is in Spanish
Como ganadora, Senmache recibió un trofeo, una computadora portátil Dell, y dos boletos pagados de ida y vuelta de la aereolinia JetBlue.

They don't express what you are looking for.
Let's try el trofeo de concurso de deletreo.
I believe Lazarus once said that there is no such thing as spelling bees in Spanish. It would be too easy.
