What is the Spanish abbreviation for the English abbreviation "Ms.", meaning a woman, who doesn't want to say if she's married or not?
Simply need a Spanish abbreviation for the English abbreviation "Ms.", meaning only a woman.....of any age, with no indication if she's married(Senora=Sra.) or not (Senorita=Srta?), if there is one, of course. Used to sign off, on an e-mail, como:
Saludos y gracias, (Sra/Srta/Ms?) D. Black.
Gracias, db

The general rule is..
Not married = señorita
Married = señora
However, age is a big factor in this. "Señorita" is a younger woman, and "señora" is an "older" woman.
Yes, but Sra. is the equivalent of Ms. in Spanish if nothing of marital status or age is known.
Sra. señora Mrs., Ms.
Here it is used similar to Mister (señor) where age or marital status means little.
We're going to have confusion here because the generic ms. (miz) and the abbreviation for Miss or mistress both used to be ms.
I've not heard of anything for Ms.
Maybe some good conversation could be started by using Ms.
