When do you use "nos" in a sentence and when do you use "nuestros"? For example, is "nos Dios" correct? Or should it be "nuestros Dios"?

You're one the right track with the second one but remember that adjectives (like nuestro/a/s) need to agree in gender (masc/fem) and number (sing/plural) with the noun (Dios) that they qualify. - Kiwi-Girl, Sep 10, 2011

"Nos" is an indirect and direct object pronoun. It also acts as a reflexive pronoun to indicate the said action is being received by the doer.

"He told us the story" - Nos dijo el cuento (Here, "nos" is the IO)

Give it to us! - "¡Dánoslo!

"We showered and left for the party" - Nos duchamos y salimos para la fiesta

"Nuestro/a/os/as" is a possessive pronoun meaning "our".

"Our mother is twenty-seven years old" - Nuestra madre tiene veintisiete años.

"Our dogs ate at four" - Nuestros perro comieron a las cuatro.

A nosotros nos parece raro que llegue tan temprano el senor Gomez. A diferencia del senor Gomez, la senora siempre llega a las 12 en punto. Nos apatece té. Bachata surgio en los anos 20 cuando Aventura, el rey de bachata, nos dijo que nosotros fueramos ricos algun dia. Nosotros glosamos un tema del momento.
