What is the word for a boundary wall?

The dictionary says "valla" which is a fence made of wooden stakes, etc. but not of bricks and concrete. The external walls of a house are probably called "las paredes externas" but how do say "the boundary wall" (a masonry structure and not of wood)?

Yes, murallas are city walls like the ones mentioned with Biblical cities. (the walls of Jericho) - 0074b507, Sep 9, 2011
But I wanted to know about the word for the boundary wall which is about 5 feet high and made of simple bricks and cement, nothing so grand as the great wall of china... - aaspriha, Sep 9, 2011

I saw valla exterior=perimeter fence

un muro (de piedra/ladrillo) rodeando el perímetro de la parcela (los límites, línea divisora)

Not a native, obviously....and a pure guess.

discussion on topic

I like the use of muralla.
