Phonetic English

The winds of boredom struct me earlier, so I decided to see if I could create my own little system of phonetic English. I know it has no practical purpose, but I found it interesting and wanted to see what you guys think.

M? n?m iz f?lix. ? wûd l?k t? sh?r this sistem with ol uv ü! :D

Vowel sounds: a - bat, e - bed, i - hit, u - cup, o - dog, ? - bait, ? - eat, ? - right, ? - boat, ? - boot, ö - south, ü - use, û - good

:D

English has so many vowel sounds - short and long versions of 5 vowels, and a bunch of hybrid sounds. How can Spanish get along with just 5 ?

This always amazes me.
