When to use Hasta and Hasta que?
When do you use hasta and hasta que in a sentence? What is the difference?

There are many meanings and uses of hasta but here's just a couple:
Hasta + que + a verb in the subjunctive mood is probably one of the most common ways that you will see hasta being used and in these cases the que is neccesary:
Espera hasta que pare de llover. Wait until it stops raining.
Hasta by itself can mean even:
Hasta te diría que I'd even say that (or I'd even go so far as to say that...)
without the que it can also mean up to - hasta el final, up to the end
Me sentaré aqui hasta que la clase se acabe. Hasta qué hora tienes clase? Hasta las nueve de la noche.
Jeulz, I asked this same question a few months ago.
