Good Webs?
What is a good website that is free to search up on ancestry. Please do not say Ancestry.com Because it is only a free trial.

Good luck! It takes a lot of work and research.
What always confuses me is when people go back really really far.
There was a lady on tv who found out her great x10 grandfather went over to America on the Mayflower. She was so excited. But the fact is that she has thousands and thousands of great x10 grandfathers and all of them are equally related to her as he is. Not to mention he's probably great x10 grandfather to thousands and thousands of great x10 grandchildren. I mean even I could be his great x10 granddaughter and I'm not even American. More likely his father is one of my great x11 grandfather's since he was from Europe.
we each have 2 parents, 4 grandparents, 16 great grandparents. etc. etc. you don't have to go back too many generations to get into millions, and you don't have to go back too many more than that to get numbers that were greater than the population of the earth at the time. So yes, everybody is and has always been marrying distant cousins.
You could try Ancestry.com...
(I didn't say it, I wrote it)
I think the best way to learn about your ancestry is to talk to older relatives. Do you have any around still?
