Does "lo", "le", "la" always appear before the verb? As in "lo hace" and why? Thanks

Well, "lo" and "la" are direct object pronouns. You can read all about them and their uses here.


"La" is also a definite article used before feminine nouns.

Disclaimer: If you wanted to use the d.o.p and i.o.p in this sentence, "le" would change to "se".


"Lo hace" means he/she/it/you formal do it.
