Hi, How would you say going downhill in español?
I was thinking of the poem:
Going downhill is the natural way for the old folks work and the young folks play..etc.

Cuesta/colina abajo is the customary way to refer to downhill, like in that poem.
yes in terms of health you can use acabar(se) or agotar(se) which means it is literally to finish (to use up) or to exhaust (to drain up) respectively...
If you are talking about an old person´s health going down hill, I would use "acabándose."
I'd say "bajando la colina" or something similar.
