No me importa si consigo tu amor sounds right on to me.

As far as "it doesn't matter, as long as I manage to get your love" I'd think something more like no me importa, sólo que consiga ganar tu amor, or something like that.

It's funny, because I think the literal translation makes complete sense in English, even if it makes very awkward English.

It doesn't matter to me if I obtain your love.

Which in English becomes,

It doesn't matter to me if I win your love or not.

I agree about your translation, and that it is awkward English. Something used in literature than in everyday speech. - pescador1, Sep 3, 2011

This is a question that makes me realize how awesome the art of interpretation is . If somebody said this to me in Spanish I would understand exactly what they meant, but that doesn't necessarily mean I can translate it well. Spanish is just different than English, and direct translations are often impossible. I guess if I had to take a stab at it I would say "It doesn't matter if you love me (like in the sense of eventually - if I can obtain your love) " I would think that another phrase would follow most of the time. Like " No me importa si consigo tu amor, aún (todavía) voy a seguir viviendo mi propia vida"

It doesn't matter, if I win your love.

Do people still say 'win' your love?
