Me llamo Daniel
o
Mi nombre es Daniel
The first is used more widely.
"Me llamo ______ " allows you to give your full name, for example Joan Smith.
With "Mi nombre es ______ " you can only give your first name, Joan.
I disagree with both! I say "Me llamo... " all the time, and I just give my first name, but saying the full name is also fine. "Mi nombre es" is more used when you are trying to sound more specific and technical, like when discussing the details on your passport (normally, full name), for example, although no one stops you from saying that all the time to introduce yourself, giving just your first name, if you want.
I would say: "Me llamo" is used all the time, both in formal and informal scenarios, and "Me llamo" is much less used, and mainly restricted to formal circumstances, in which "me llamo" is also used a lot anyway.
Me llamo letiz = I'm called letiz.
I disagree too. The correct translation for "Me llamo" is simply "My name is", unless you want a word by word translation. We say "Me llamo" as often as you say "My name is", and with the same expressive intention.
Me llamo letiz = I'm called letiz.
Mi nombre es letiz = My name is letiz.

Well, I would use this way : If someone asks me "What is your name"=I will answer---> Ma llamo __ . And if I want to say "My name means ___ in spanish"= Mi nombre significa _ en el español.
