How people say the letter "Y" is regional, as Mariana said. In some places they call it "ye", which is now the name recommended by the RAE [Spanish Royal Academy]. However, it is not "y griega", it is "i griega" to distinguish it from the letter "i" which was often called "i latina".

No me comprendes. Se dice "ye" en vez de "y griega"

Here in Guatemala they say "Ye" for the letter "Y" and in Mexico and Spain they say "Y Greiga."

So, it sort of depends on where you are.
