Wipe down the menus

Is there no word for wipe? There is no way that "pasar un paño por los menus" would fly with the natives at work. I asked Olga what the word for wipe is , she looked at me like I was crazy and said limpiar.

Ha, yeah I don't think there is a Spanish word for that. They would probably just say "Clean the menus" or "Wash the menus" so "Limpia los menus" or "Lava los menus"
