Cover the floor with paper towels

Cover the floor with paper towels

Cover - poner VS cubrir

Does - Tienes que buscar un montón de toallas y cubriror todo el suelo (con ellos?) work here, I think poner is better.

I think buscar is get here, and conseguir doesn't work

Gracias.

Could you put towels all over the floor? Stop mopping. You have to get a bunch of towels and cover the floor with them. (it's all wet)

Hope it helps!

but I think that cubrir is a better translation - Dakie, Sep 1, 2011

In such a case, I would empty the mop bucket. Then I would mop and wring the mop, mop and wring the mop. Of course the mop bucket I used had a mop wringer built into it and it was a big mop, too. One restaurant I worked at had floor drains that we could squeegee the water into with a floor squeegee.

A different approach:

Could you put towels all over the floor? Stop mopping. You have to get a bunch of towels and cover the floor with them. (it's all wet)
