Ok Can anyone correct me the proper way to say? (below)

Each of us are experiencing financial burden

or

Each of us is experiencing financial burden

Which one is the correct way to say it. I'm not sure If I have to use "is" or "are".

Gracias

Each, singular. The trick is to replace each with "every one" and if it works that way, it works that way with each.

Edit: and therefore it uses is. Each of us is experiencing financial burden.

As Jeezle wrote, "is". However, the use of "are" in this construction is very common.
