Una frase en castellano antiguo.....

Question

I was reading an article and happened to come across this sentence, which I came to realise was not in fact modern Spanish, but an older form of the language.

I did try the translator, but I made no sense out of the translation that was given. I think it just confused me a bit more.

I would deeply appreciate if someone could help me translate it into modern Spanish.

"Fagamos una obra tal e tan grande que los que la vieren acabada nos tomen por locos"

Let's create something so huge that those who see it finished would think we're crazy.
