my spanish teacher said that (asi asi) means im ok, but my friend said it ment (im gay) and i cant find it on here or the dictionary and he's in spanish 4 and im in spanish 1, so i dont know what to beleave so im kinda iffy about saying it now. please help

Your spanish is right. It can be used an as option for so so. You can also say mas o menos.
