If I want to ask 'please donate' or say 'donate' in spanish, would it just be 'dona por favor' or 'dona' or is there a better phrase?

If you wanted to keep it simple it'd be 'por favor done' or 'donen' (pl) but how about 'Por favor, sean tan amables de donar!'
