What is the translation for "cielito"?

I found this word "cielito" in a book I'm reading and it's not in the dictionary. I think it's an endearment like sweetie or honey but I'm not sure.

The full quote is... "No me hagas esperar cielito. Tu me atormentas."

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Literally means "little (piece) of sky", but in this case it means "honey (pie)", "sweety" etc...

I think of it more as "little (piece) of heaven". :-) - gintar77, Aug 29, 2011
Thank you. That makes perfect sense. :-) - mkclaassen, Aug 30, 2011
