Te extraño is more commonly used in Latin America.
In Spain, people say te echo de menos.
None, except for some expressions are more common in some countries than others.
One has more syllables.
I used echar de menos for missing one's hometown in a Spanish class and was told that echar de menos was used more for missing people and extraño was used more missing things.........guess that isn't so?
Te extraño is seldom used in Spain, we use the "te echo de menos" form.
Extraño is written with ñ![]()
