Hmmm, first thing that came to my mind was Seas: more than one sea, as in oceans.
It's the 2nd person singular subjunctive form of "ser".
It sounds like a lot, yes, but the only tricky part is the subjunctive.
It translates a bit like "(tú) eres", but is in the subjunctive, which a fancy word for a type of verb form that expresses uncertainty, opinions, doubt, etc.
You'll generally find it after "que" in phrases like...
I doubt that... Dudoso que..
You want you to be.. Quiero que seas...
I hope that... Ojalá que...
In short, it translates as "you are", or in 'proper', unused English, "you be".
