If the ring has one or more gems on it, it is often referred to as una sortija.

That's interesting. What would be an English equivalent.? - 0074b507, Aug 24, 2011
It's just "ring" in English, but if we wanted to stress that is has gems, I guess we'd say "gemmed ring"? - gintar77, Aug 24, 2011
or "jeweled ring" - gintar77, Aug 24, 2011
Not so sure it has to be a precious stone (gen). I see lots of sites advertising sortijas de graduacción which have a stone, but not a gem. (p.ej.onyx) - 0074b507, Aug 24, 2011
You're right, I wasn't thinkg of onyx or jade, for example. Some kind of jewel or stone, though. - gintar77, Aug 24, 2011

You can also double-click any word on this website and get a little popup translation. It's not always accurate and it doesn't understand the context, but it's a quick time-saver.

el anillo which means the ring! In the future livers there is a search bar where you can enter the word you are looking for and it will tell you the English and Spanish. It will also tell you how it is! said if you click the audio button. Good Luck! Here is a ring. P.S. I am not a girl! Hope this helps amiga!*

*amiga is amigo but it is amiga because you are a girl.
