Suggest Me Español Books ?

Question

Hola ! I need to buy a español book which learns me Speaking ( with many conversation - like Interchange for English - ) Suggest me the best book , what do you think about Sueña ? Gracias

Answer 1

Here is the book I have been using, but it is relatively expensive ($16).

If you search the threads, you will find many excellent recommendations from more experienced members.

I usually read the reviews of books at Amazon to find one which particularly suits my own personal tastes and needs. Here are some which received excellent reviews, but have completely different approaches to learning:

Madrigal's Magic Key to Spanish (used from $3)

Spanish for Beginners (used from $1)

Fundamental Spanish ($25)

E-Z Spanish Grammar (used from $6)

The Complete Book of Spanish (used from $2)

¡Buena suerte!

are all of them series books ? and thanks - Princess_ir, Aug 24, 2011

Yes, they are all books (some available for Kindle) and available from Amazon. Just click on the blue link to read more about them. - territurtle, Aug 25, 2011

This was a difficult choice for me, because I love using online resources, rather than books. I did choose several books, anyway.

In my case, since I was learning what I forgot many years ago in school, I began with a book that covers everything quickly. The "Spanish For Dummies" series of books. It was fairly complete and explained subjects in the simplest language possible.

In the end, I think it is best to go through more than one book. Each book has its own way to present and practice. When you do this, you usually find out that the first book was not the best, and the last book was better. That is not because the last book is better. It is because you started the last book with some knowledge and practice already.

i meant español , thanks for reminding :) - Princess_ir, Aug 23, 2011
