Singing in Spanish, a challenge
I do sing in Spanish at parties, the link below is one that I enjoy doing. The challenge here is for all learners to understand how words are deformed to fit music.
This particular song is truly funny in the "norteño" style, and is one of my favorites. listen to it and see if you can understand the words and post them. You will get a good idea of how lyrics can be "bent" to the music.

Thanks Frank, very amusing! I can't get all of it and my head's aching so I'll leave it here. I listened to another version but not all the lyrics were the same (as one would expect with such a popular song!)
Here are some of them:

Very norteño, my good friend, very norteño indeed... let's see, first stanza, something like:
En una fonda (hole in the wall, I think best describes it) chiquita
que parecía restaurante
entre a comerme unos tacos
porque ya me andaba de hambre (stomach digesting itself...jeje)
ya ven que el hambre es canija (I personally like this word! = intenso, feroz, canina)
pero mas el que la aguante.
