How can I make learning spanish more easy?
The problem is that I learn spanish quite quickly from films and music, but I struggle to learn it from language cds and books...can someone please tell me a way to learn spanish properly.

Danielle: I do not think there is a way more "proper" or less proper. it is all in how your mind works and how best you absorb things.
Find a direction you can easily follow and do not overcomplicate by going into the more complex moods of Spanish until you get the conversational basics down.
Because of my scattershot style of learning I had to go all the way back to the basics and start over. So by this I recommend going in a patient step by step way of learning.
l learnt my English from songs, and now l speak with native English speakers without any problems 
No worries, just keep listening to songs and you'll be great!!
oh yeah one more thing, remember to make it fun! 
If films and music work for you then why change a good habit? There is not one most proper way to learn a language. It all depends on the type of person as well as your personal goals. The best way is always one that is enjoyable for you. Listening cds and reading textbooks probably bores you out, so PLEASE refrain from that.
What you could do to improve is to keep those books for reference for if you encounter some construction that is confusing to you.
If the problem is that you're forced to read it because of school... well I suppose there's not much you can do, so take it like a man and get that A.
