I am addressing my speech to an Ambassador... Can I say "Honorable Ambassador?

In American English, we usually just say, "Mr. Ambassador," if we are talking to him/her directly. For example,
"Mr. Ambassador, thank you for visiting our humble organisation."
"Mr. Ambassador, if you would please, follow me."
If you are using his title, you may refer to him as "The Honorable Peter Pan XVIII, Ambassador of Never Never Land."
It seems that you may also use, "His Excellency, Peter Pan XVIII, The Ambassador of Never Never Land."
